Controller Integrated Supply Chain

For our head-office in Amersfoort we have a great opportunity for a controller who wants to provide finance support for the Integrated Supply Chain leadership across Nobian including but not limited to gross margin analysis, cost assessments, forecasting as well as long-term strategic planning, operational budget planning and inventory monitoring. Are you an experienced controller with several years of demonstrable work experience in a production environment, then we are looking for you!

Your challenge

The challenge in this role is to financially lead Nobian’s capital expenditure process, which includes overseeing the governance approval system and the content of capital requests (i.e., investment analysis). You will also manage the overall operational process related to capital expenditures and the monthly product costing in the ERP system. Additionally, you will support and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and assist the EVP ISC, Director Asset Management, and Finance Director ISC with a wide range of issues. Furthermore, you will act as the interface to local finance teams at various sites and liaise with the Regional Accounting Centers. This role also involves controlling the central HSE and Asset Management departments for cost and capital expenditures.

Your responsibilities

Leading the monthly Financial Control Cycle in the broadest sense;
Financially leading NOBIAN’s Capex program;
Monthly actuals and annual budget;
Ensure quality of the approval submissions, in line with Nobian’s Project Management process.

You will work in a small team and you will be part of the entire commercial finance department.

Have you got what it takes?

Do you consider yourself as self-starter and are you accurate, organized and disciplined in order to achieve high quality output and to meet strict deadlines? Further to this you recognize yourself in the following points:

University degree in Business Economics or an equivalent study and minimum 5 years of working experience;
Basic understanding of the ISC production processes;
Excellent communicator who is able to work with people from different parts of the organization;
Excellent skills in English, German and Dutch would be a plus;
The ability to prioritize and organize the work;
Excellent skills in MS Excel, Power BI and experience with SAP ECC and Business Warehouse is a must.
