Your challenge

As Procurement Data Officer, you will be responsible for executing and rationalizing Procurement IT (SAP) tickets and improving procurement processes. Your role is pivotal in removing administrative burdens from procurement colleagues. You will act as a solution architect for the systems and processes under your control, ensuring efficient and effective procurement operations. Your challenge includes managing Ariba Buying and Invoicing & Business Network, supporting key users, and improving supplier onboarding and catalog accuracy. Next to that, you serve as a bridge between procurement and various stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • Serve as the Business/System Admin for Ariba Buying and Invoicing & Business Network.
  • Support training for key users and handle functional queries and transactional/master data in Ariba and SAP systems.
  • Improve supplier onboarding and increase catalog accuracy for better pricing and first-time right invoices.
  • Reduce tickets for FAM by handling administrative tasks such as closing business documents and following up on supplier details.
  • Communicate with our internal and external stakeholders to ensure that processes and systems work as anticipated.

You will be part of Procurement Excellence team and will report into the Procurement Excellence Manager.

We are looking for a proactive and structured individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment. If you have a knack for problem-solving and can influence stakeholders while keeping overarching goals in mind, you might be the perfect fit for this role. Your ability to remain calm amidst changing tasks and resource availability will be crucial. Furthermore: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a midsized or large enterprise.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to execute solutions with a high level of autonomy.
  • Fluent in English and conversational Dutch or German is considered an advantage.
  • A process or project management certificate and/ or experience is advantageous (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
