Your Challanges
Nobian is the European leader in salt, essential chemicals and energy storage. Under PE ownership, we operate an integrated value chain in North-Western Europe and are considered a frontrunner with our ambitious decarbonization agenda (for example, we are the first organization which entered into 1:1 Agreements / ‘Maatwerk’ with the Dutch government to accelerate our decarbonization).
In this context, Nobian faces important and interesting strategic questions which will be the focus of the Strategy & Transformation Manager.
Topics such as defining and pushing our decarbonization agenda, developing new business ideas related to the energy transition into tangible business opportunities, managing public stakeholders regarding our mining operations in the Netherlands and Europe, and various M&A opportunities.
Your tasks
- Influencing the shaping and executing of the strategic agenda
- Defining and pushing our decarbonization agenda, developing new business ideas related to the energy transition into tangible business opportunities
- Act as the in-house strategic professional, who also has a keen eye for execution
- Take ownership of ~2-3 key strategic topics and work together with the business to gather data and prepare decision making

- Relevant Master degree with outstanding study & extracurricular results
- 4 years’ experience in consulting with a focus on strategy
- Action-oriented
- Excellent structuring and presenting skills.
