Your challenge
As Cost Engineering you are responsible for preparing and validating cost estimates for our capital projects. You analyse project data and creat detailed cost estimates. Next to that you collabore with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategies, processes, work procedures and tools for capital estimates and cost control for capital projects.
- Lead Nobian's cost estimates and cost control organization to achieve capital efficiency.
- Manage, audit and deliver capital estimates and cost control services according to company and project procedures.
- Recruit, train and supervise capital estimates and project control engineers at 7 locations.
- Supporting database engineers in maintaining Nobian cost data and cost models.
You are part of a project team and work together with project managers, site asset managers, site directors, procurement and, depending on the project, with the management team.

Have you got what it takes?
Do you consider yourself as an expert on cost estimation? Do you have thorough understanding of the principles of Project Management? Do you have excellent communication skills? Further to this you recognize yourself in the following points:
- Master's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or project control;
- Team player, contributes to team’s ability to reach maximum performance;
- Able to implement systems, processes and procedures;
- Experience with Cost Estimation Software (Aspen, Cleopatra, Microsoft Projects, Primavera, SAP).
