Your challenge
As Supply Planner you manage the process of balancing the product demand with the available production capacity via continuous optimization of production, ship deliveries, costs and stops and thereby realizing an optimum utilization of the production plants combined with daily liaison with demand planner, Sales&Marketing, and plants. You manage the integrated business planning (IBP) Supply Stream based on the IBP principles within their specific business with focus on the total value chain.
Your responsibilities
- Maintaining and creating valid and achievable supply plans which are reconciled to the overall supply strategy, balanced to capabilities, and respond to customer needs profitably.
- Plan production with a very high level of understanding of the trade-offs between service, stock, and total supply chain costs.
- Improving capability of the planning function and implementing new concepts, tools, and processes (e.g.: stocking parameters, flexible batch size management, etc...).
- Managing and monitoring Inventory levels and shared responsibility on Lead times and customer OTIF.
- Manage supply response to abnormal demands, as they arise, by driving the flexible part of short terms supply to resolve real time issues as they occur.
The Supply Planner is part of the planning team and reports hierarchically to Planning Manager SOD.

Have you got what it takes?
As Supply Planner you bring relevant experience with planning in a complex global environment. You can balance customer needs and the available capacity. Next to that, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which are crucial for this role to optimize inventory levels and address supply chain issues efficiently.
Further to this you recognize yourself in the following points:
- Bachelor diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 5-years of experience within planning (Are you a starter looking for a first exciting opportunity? Keep on reading because we are also happy to receive your application!).
- Excellent communication skills to different layers in the organization.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as L6S.
- Preferably, oral and written fluency in Dutch, fluency in English.
